Paperfy is a web application for managing academic paper PDFs and providing AI-generated summaries, infographics, and audio playback.

2. Eligibility

The service is intended for personal use by researchers, clinicians, students, and related users.

3. Prohibited actions

The following actions are prohibited.

• ・Uploading content that infringes copyright or other rights
• ・Unauthorized use or reverse engineering of the service
• ・Harassment or nuisance toward other users
• ・Actions that violate laws or regulations
• ・Placing excessive load on the service infrastructure

4. Intellectual property

The content, design, and code of Paperfy belong to Paperfy. Copyrights in uploaded papers remain with their respective rights holders.

5. Disclaimer

The service is provided as is. Paperfy does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content, including summaries and infographics. The operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the service.

6. Changes or suspension of the service

The operator may change or suspend the service without prior notice.

7. Subscriptions

• ・The Free plan is available at no charge.
• ・The Pro plan is ¥1,480 per month or ¥14,200 per year, tax included.
• ・Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. After cancellation, the Pro plan remains available until the end of the current billing period.
• ・Refunds are generally not provided, except in cases where the service has a serious defect.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Japanese law. If a dispute arises, the Kyoto District Court shall have exclusive agreed jurisdiction.
